You can break out to find the USB adapter and try to expand a bit on the antenna to the perpendicular to their dimensions. Every driver of electricity to operate, it is better to not be protected (no insulation), and you must take care to keep electrically isolated from the rest (inside a piece of electrical tape between the components and save others).

You can use a piece of wire, you can use a clip is not really like an electric conductor.
